SERVICES PROVIDED

The Medical Laboratory’s aim is to improve Eye Care services through provision of quality and cost effective Medical Laboratory services. We provide basic and specialized investigations in all the component units of Clinical Laboratory Services viz;

1. Haematology
2. Chemical Pathology
3. Histopathology
4. Microbiology

• We are involved in laboratory based research and other hospital based research
• We are registered with NHIS and so provide such services to staff and patients referred from the Staff Clinic.
• We also provide retainership services and other screenings in Eye Camps.

With the provision of some modern equipment, the turnaround time for laboratory investigation has been reduced hence providing quick results for possible medical intervention in diagnosis and treatment.
