NEC Carries Out First Ahmed Glaucoma Valve Implant

National Eye Centre, Kaduna has carried out its first ever Ahmed Glaucoma Valve Implant (AGV). This was disclosed by Dr. Olusegun Olaniyi, a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Head of Glaucoma Department in Centre and the first eye surgeon to be trained and certified to do the AGV procedure in the Northern part of the country. Condolence Visit To Emirate, Zazzau

The Top Management Staff (TMC) of National Eye Centre, Kaduna paid a visit to the Palace of the Emir of Zazzau on the 25th of September, 2020 to commiserate with the Emirate on the passing of the late Emir, Alhaji Shehu Idris. The monarch, who was appointed on February 15, 1975, died on the 20th of September, 2020 at the age of 84 years.
