National Eye Centre, Kaduna had its first inaugural meeting of the 9th Board of Management on the 14th of March, 2018. Present were the Alhaji Magaji Usman, Chairman of the Board; Mr. Anthony Hassan representing Ministry of Health; Dr. Ojotule Augustine representing the NMA; Alhaji Garba Umar representing the public interest on the Board; Dr. Mahmoud Alhassan, the CMD of National Eye Centre, Kaduna; Dr. Amina Hassan-Wali, the CMAC; Dr. Thelma Ndife, the DCMAC and Mal. World Sight Day 2018

The Glaucoma Clinic of National Eye Centre, Kaduna kicked off its 2018 World Glaucoma week from 12th March, 2018 to 16th March 2018. It began with an Eye Health Education lecture by Dr. Thelma Ndife. Free glaucoma eye screening tests were also done on a large number of patients.
